Legal Question in Administrative Law in Massachusetts

types of Probation

Greetings. I have a few questions about probation. First off, Administrative Probation, does that differ from Strait Probation? If some one completed Strait Probation do they get a DISM for a disposition?

At the end of said Administrative probation and one gets their earned DISM, will it show up on BOP/CORI as had serving Administrative Probation. I know Administrative Probation is less grueling as others.

Re: types of Probation

The type of probation does not show up on the CORI. The difference is in the cost and amount of supervision involved. The term "Straight Probation" just means that there is not a fixed sentence hanging over the head of the offender, however, if s/he violates probation then s/he can be sentenced to up to the maximum for the offense, in the court's discretion. In short... stay out of trouble while on probation.
