Legal Question in Banking Law in Massachusetts

I recieved an email about a certied bank draft, the guy gave me an address and phone # for direct contact info, and I am making him scan the draft and send it to me in email so I can see it. What are the chances its actually true?

Was this someone you know? If not, it is an extremely common scam called "advance fee fraud." Google "advance fee fraud" to learn more.

Ask yourself, why would a stranger choose you - of all people - to receive this money?
