Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Massachusetts

Electronic Filing & Judgement

I was told I could file bankruptcy in MA electronically is that true? also, if there is a judgement against me in small claims to pay a creditor can I put that on my bankruptcy list? thank you for your time.

Massachusetts and most federal courts require electronic filing. Your attorney can file electronically based on his account and password. For individuals, you will need to go to the courthouse with your documents and have them manually scanned and entered.

Your attorney can file electronically right from his office. As for your second question, you are obligated to disclose all debts, including judgments, on your petition. It's not an option. Whether that judgment would be discharged (as most are) depends on other factors. Feel free to contact me with additional questions.
