File for bankruptcy

As an individual how can I file for bankruptcy again or do I have to be dimissed before I file again - does it matter if I am filing in different states? How times can a person file bankruptcy

You can only file bankruptcy every six years. However, you may be able to file for protection under a different chapter, depending on what chapter you filed under before. When you say you are filing in different states, I do not know what you mean. Please email me with a clarification.
