No not the initial filing, but, both parties have to sign if filing jointly. If you file pro se in Massachusetts you will need to bring the documents to the court and use a scanner at the front counter. After the documents are scanned, the intake staff will process them. If you hire an Attorney the documents are filed electronically. You must both be present at the 341 meeting.
