Have annual service agreement with client who terminated early. Payment is quartet. Client promised next quarter payment, then terminated? Can we sue?

It depends on the terms of the contract. Look at the terms of the contract with respect to termination of the agreement. The customer is required to pay for the services provided up to the time of termination and if there is a notice period, through the period of notice. Absent reading the agreement no one can advise you on the customer's obligation.

You may want to hire an attorney to review and revise the agreement you use so this issue is properly addressed in future agreements if it is not properly addressed now.
