automatic withdrawal payments on a lease

I signed a lease for restaurant equipment where I agreed to allow for auto withdrawal for monthly payment. Can I pay manually at this point with written notification? Lease company is insisting I can not..lease orginator told us specifically that we could before we would agree to sign lease
