Not sure exactly what you are asking... But there is no such thing as "without assuming any liability."

Sorry to have to answer a question with a question, but are you asking if you can set up a car rental business, so that you rent a car to someone while their car is in your shop or are you asking if you can rent out your shop (or a bay in your shop) to someone else?

With respect to liability, there is no way I know of to guarantee "no" liability in a business context. However, you can certainly limit your chance of exposure. With respect to either situation I described above you are really looking at some additional insurance and you want to make sure that you have limited your personal liability by setting up your business properly.

You should be able to accomplish your goals with a little legal help and the cost for such services should be reasonable - any attorney familiar with business organizations and basic insurance liability concepts should be able to help you.

As a Franchise Attorney I concur with the other attorney answers. What do you mean by "without incurring any liability to the renter?" Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
