Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts

I was just emailed a Notice to Cease and Desist Internet Defamation / Libel from a company i have filed a compliant against on the BBB and reviewed negatively on a independent website. they have demanded that unless i remove my complaint and negative review with 5 days, that legal actions against me will arise. I feel i have legitimate documentation and evidence that services were not provided as the contract states. do i need to get a lawyer?? TIA

I would suggest you contact an attorney to review the letter and the posting complaints you have made to determine the validity of the claims that they are making. If all complaints you have made are true as you have stated, it sounds like their request is unwarranted, however a review of the documents is necessary in something like this. Due to the time sensitive nature of the demand, I suggest you contact an attorney as soon as possible. I would be happy to assist you if you like.
