Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts

Paid for a product and didn't receive it

I bought a very expensive product($5000) and paid cash for it up front...In the meantime the company has gone out of business...I did get a receipt for the product and the amount paid..What recourse do I have at this point?

In order to receive help in this forum, you have to tell us what the problem is! The sentence you gave simply tells us that you bought a product(5,000), you paid cash, have a receipt and the company went out of business? Are you trying to tell us that you never received the product? Yet, you handed them cash (5,000)? Please make some sense so that someone can give you the proper advice.
