Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts

Wedding Video Contract

We have signed a contract with a videographer to shoot our wedding on video. The contract states that we should have received the video within 13 weeks after the wedding. All money were paid before the wedding as stated by the contract.

The guy did show up for the wedding and seemed professional etc. After that we had 3 appointments when he edited the video right with us.

However, it has been 3 years since the wedding (18 months since last appointment) and we still did not receive the final video.

For a while now this videographer would not return our calls and would not even accept certified mail (we are sure the mail address is still valid).

Is there a way for us to get our wedding video finished?

Re: Wedding Video Contract

Retain an attorney to send a consumer protection law demand letter that will suggest the videographer may be found liable by a court for double or treble damages and your attorney fees if he does not make a reasonable settlement within 30 days of its receipt.
