credit card debt after death

Will my children be responsible to pay my credit card debt after my death if that debt is in my name only?

The debt will be paid from the estate, assuming there are assets in the estate to pay the debt.

Hello,

Thank you for your email. If the debt is not in your children's name they will not be required to pay. However, If the estate has assets the estate will be required to pay the debt.
