I would question the validity of the charges incurred based on the fact you were a minor when the purchases were intiated. Please feel free to contact my office based on the facts of your specific situation.;))

You are unable to legally enter into a contract before you are 18 years old, so those charges before your 18th birthday are invalid and uncollectable (including the interest on those charges). However, the charges you incurred after turning 18 (assuming you were still using the card) are ratified by you acceptance of the contract after becoming an adult. You may want to speak with a lawyer and bring all of your records.
