Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

Does Sallie Mae Inc. calling my phone 10 times a day for the past two weeks qualify as harassment? I have a student loan with them and they have been trying to contact me nonstop about my 80 day delinquency, where I have told them I am unable to pay. I have already filed a deferment but they continue to call. What can be done about this?

You may have a remedy for this harrassment under Federal law. Your situation is complicated by the fact that your student loan lender is the harrassing party. I need to get a better sense of what exactly has happened to know for certain. Feel free to email me more about your situation: [email protected]

In the interim, you may request they cease telephonic communications.
