Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

My 20 yr old grandson got into a quarrel with his girlfriend which resulted in him being on probation for a year for a felony, breaking and entering (house was not locked and he had been sleeping there!), in Massachusetts. Now that his probation is over, the probation officer says it will show 'Dismissed' on his record when potential employers check his criminal record. Is there any legal process to get this completely off his record?

Thanks

Dave

Your grandson could retain an attorney to discuss the merits of filing a motion to seal his record. Good Luck!

Sounds like he pled and as a result he can eventually have the record sealed depending on the disposition. It sounds like he got a CWOF.
