Re: Arrsted

Disorderly Person allows for up to 6 month in the House of Correction (HOC), Disturbing the Peace also allows for up to 6 month in the HOC and Resisting Arrest allows for up to 2.5 years in the HOC. They continued the case to provide you the opportunity to hire a lawyer, which is exactly what you should do. The court looks extremely disfavorably on the Resisting Arrest charge and depending on the facts and your previous criminal history, imprisonment is not out of the question. If you need further assistance or have additional questions you can contect me through my website or call at telephone bumbers listed there.

Re: Arrsted

Hi,

It's hard to tell by what you posted. Did you get it continue to another court date or continued without a finding? Overall, if you stay out of trouble while you are on probation and while the case is pending (whichever is going on with you) you should not get locked up.

If you are nervous you should hire an attorney.

Good luck.

Jessica

Re: Arrsted

I do not know what you mean by continued it. Do you have an attorney. Is this a disposition or were you given another date?
