Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

Driver's Insurance and Registration

I received an arraignment letter from the town court on 4 counts

1. suspended registration

2.uninsured vehicle

3.unregistered vehicle

4. expired inspection sticker

I have since rectified all of this, and I am back to driving my car (it was towed when the office stopped me).

I am willing to pay any fees necessary but I cannot go to jail or be on probation. What is my best course of action? I have to be in court in one month.

Re: Driver's Insurance and Registration

Most prosecutors look to see if you have straightened out your license, registration, insurance etc. if you don't have a previous record with alot of the same offenses, you will probably be required to pay fines and court costs. Jail is not likely unless you have many prior offenses on your record.
