Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

This is a juvinile question our lawyer asked for certain files from thr da and the judge order it but the da keeps delaying giving us the files do we have a right to a dismissal

If it's an issue of discovery, then you can ask the court to dismiss the case for lack of discovery. If you child has an attorney, he/she probably knows what they're doing and will file the necessary paperwork to the court to make the DA's office comply with the judges ruling.
