A good criminal defense is going to cost you some money.

You'll have to contact attorneys in the Hudson area. While you may find someone willing to take the case for a reduced rate or to work out some other payment arrangement, you also have to understand that attorneys generally expect to be paid commensurately for providing their services. If your husband cannot afford to hire a private attorney to represent him, a public defender may be his only other option. Like anything else, some public defenders are very good, and some others are not as good. The quality varies, just as it does with privately attorneys. In any event, good luck with everything.
