Mass Dna data base

Does The Dna Databases , and or sex crime registry need to be updated yearly with fresh Dna samples? If a person is incarcerated for 20 years does he/she need to register every year?I am unclear on these issues.

You question is somewhat confusing; Theoretically a good DNA sample should last a long time; periodic registration depends on your status. Generally it is annual, unless there are certain changes in your life, then you must provide those changes;
