Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

Having a sealed record

I was charged with felony assault and battery. I was arrested by police based on an accusation by someone under the influence of drugs (don't they check on these things before they issue an arrest warrant?). Fortunately my accuser did not know I was in a different city working when the accusation was made, so the charge was dismissed, but now I have an arrest record.

If this issue ever comes up, would I be better off having my arrest record ''sealed'' (which to me would show I was trying to hide something), or just let the record stand and keep the documentation showing I was falsely accused? Appreciate any advice
