Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

My wife claims that 2 days back I pushed her and violated the abuse prevention order. She never called police at that time. There is no evidence in her statement. What is the probability that my case would be a not guilty verdict? Will the judge believe her statement without any evidence and convict me as guilty?

Hi. There are a lot of opportunities to have your case dismissed before a trial is even necessary. In any event, you have a right to a trial by jury, which is almost always better than a trial with a judge. The fact that your wife didn't call the police is helpful.
