Legal Question in DUI Law in Massachusetts

Job oppertunities in Michigan.

I realy need to know how to move to michigan while im still on probation.Ive been on probation for a year and a half and only have 6 months to go but my friend in michigan lost 4 workers in the past week and is in need of help asap.I need paper work legal documents to take to my probation officer proving that you can relocate your probation to another state. She told me that i cant legally move until my time is up which makes no sense to me being that its just a misdemeanor and she said you can only relocate if its a felony charge. To me thats a bunch of crap and theres no way that a person who lets say robbed a bank can leave the state as opposed to me who drove drunk one night. Is there any way possible for me to obtain paper work proving I can transfer my probation to Michigan fro Massachusetts if I give an address, employers name with some sort of note to prove it.Please help me and let me know how to obtain anything to show her i can legally move.I would appreciate it so much i just really want to start fresh in a new place with an old friend and get away from the influences and fake friends around here thank you.

I suggest that you hire an attorney to speak with your probation officer.

You can also ask the judge to terminate your probation early. Depending upon the facts of the case, your performance on probation, your record and other factors that address your situation, the may or may not work. All cases are very fact specific and you should speak to an attorney to evaluate your particular situation.

Retain an attorney to work with you and your probation officer.
