Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My boyfriend and his ex, the mother of his son, have a court ordered agreement stating they will alternate claiming the child on their taxes every year. She did last year, and this is his year. He filed yesterday and they were denied because she already claimed him. What legal action can be taken against her for obviously breaking their agreement?

He can file a complaint for contempt and ask the court to require her to amend her tax return and/or reimburse him the additional taxes he had to pay plus the cost of refiling his return, etc.
