My ex claims he recorded me saying I am suicidal and has served me to appear in court in MA for Sole Custody. My daughter is 6 years old, I moved 175 miles ways from him, he has seen her 30 days in the last year. Can he tell a judge this nonsense in court? What should be first step to defend my myself?

There are problems, and I hope that an attorney represents you.
Unauthorized recordings are criminal, and you can contact the police or file an application for a criminal complaint.
Your ex can still relate to the court that about your comments, regardless of their being taped.
