court order question

if my sons mom moves to arizona and i move to rhode island after she goes does the massachusettes court custody order still stand or is it void. In short can I move or should i keep looking

The custody order is not affected by either party moving out of state as the court retains continuing jurisdiction. The custodial parent may need the court's permission to move the child out of state, though, especially if you object and it can not be shown that it is in the child's best interest. Good Luck!
