custody/alimony

my husband supports me and my small children and i have no mone to m name. our relationship is unhealthy and i am worried of our children's saftey with him. will i be able to have full or shared custody of our children if i leave him? also, he insists that if i leave him he will make sure i don't see a penn from him. is that true?

The distance between what he says and what a court will do is huge. This is something for which you need help. A court can order him to pay your attorney's fees. In a long term marriage, alimony is available. As to the children, i do not understand what you are saying.

No. Retain an attorney. He will be ordered to pay child support and possibly alimony and even your attoney's fee. Good luck!

It is not an unusual threat. But your husband will have to pay child support at a minimum and will likely have to pay more than that. However, more information is need to properly advise you. Your husband will have to pay money. Your assets will be split equally.

I suggest you contact an attorney ASAP.
