Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Can the department of revenue take possession of an existing insurance policy on a father who is behind on his child support? The policy on this man was taken out 20 some odd years ago by his parents and has been paid for all this time by his parents, with his parents as beneficiaries. He had no children at the time this policy was started. They want him to sign over this policy and take the cash value.

Good question. I would argue no DOR cannot take the policy because it is owned by the parents.
