my brother is going to get a divorce my sister in law started it and now she want my brother to pay for her lawyer by law does he have too pay for her lawyer?

In a divorce, it makes virtually no difference who files for divorce. The assets and

debts are subject to division. As such, legal fees are treated like any other debt and

must be paid. This means that the court can order the husband to pay the wife's legal

fees.
