Does a divorced person have to provide health insurance to their ex spouse, when the spouse has mass health?

It depends. If there is an Order for Alimony in the case, the Court may order the ex-spouse who is paying the Alimony to pay for the health insurance of the other ex-spouse. The payment of health insurance for an ex-spouse cannot to reduce the obligor's ex-spouse's Alimony payment—the Alimony amount would stay the same.

If there is no Order for health insurance with the Divorce Decree, then there is no obligation on the part of an ex-spouse to provide health insurance for his/her ex-spouse.
