Why would an ex-spouse want his lawyer to examine me in a Notice of Deposition in a child support issue? My son is in a Job training program and I received a letter from my ex husbands lawyer for a Notice of Deposition and he wants me to go and see his lawyer. Should I have legal representation? Should the Child Support Services help me.

Do you live in Rhode Island or Massachusetts? (Your zip code is for Rhode Island but your question is listed as Massachusetts.) I do not know about the Rhode Island Child Support Agency, but I was an attorney with the Massachusetts Child Support Agency for 16 years and while they may be able to help you in some ways, they do not attend depositions.
