Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

How I can tell my ex-wife to leave me in peace/alone?

I divorced my wife in 2001. Since then she keeps once a while taking me to "church" court (she is trying to get the marriage dissolved) or few months ago she accused me of not giving the money she deserved from the house we used to owned. The house was sold in 2001 and the money was splitted 50/50 as determined by the court. I got married again, and she stills trying to be in my life. I live in Massachusetts and she lives out of the country. How can I tell her, stay away?

I assume there is no payment of alimony required or child support at this stage. Assuming that is the case you have two options:

1. Send her a certified letter telling her to cease communication with you and you will not attend any church court action unless it is in Massachusetts.

2.Go to court and get a protective order prohibiting her from contacting you or seeking to take you to church court.

Other than ignoring her there is not much you can do.

If you do have children whom she has custody and for whom you pay support, that changes things slightly.

Good Luck
