Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
if a father is trying to take the kids from the mother by making false allegations that mother knows for a fact are untrue and cant be proved right in court but mother has enough to prove wrong can mother than sue for defamation of character!?

Not for allegations made in a complaint. However, if she can show that the husband knew the allegations were completely unfounded and false, she or her attorney can ask the court to award her sanctions for abuse of process or making knowingly false allegations.
