Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I was forced to sign an agreement for alimony to pay 150 a week by my ex wifes lawyer i was unrepresented and i cant afford to pay it so now im 15 thousand dollers behind and there has ben circumstantial changes since then i remarried and have 5 daughters and 2 whom are in collage an two in middle school and one age 4 only the the 2 in collage are my biological children and the others are stepchildren threw new marrage but all are my dependents i also have ben unemployed for the last year and my current wife works part time we are just barley making ends meet my ex still wants alimony and refuses to get a job to suport herself and i just filed for a modifaction my ex pays no bills of her own she lives with her parents would any one know how this is going to turn out

Well, I can't predict what the Judge will do without more information, but I can predict that he or she will say that you should have taken steps sooner. At 150 per week, it would take 100 weeks (almost 2 years) to rack up a $15,000 arrearage.

You should speak to a lawyer and go through all of the relevant facts with him or her.
