If the husband cheats, and sets up an apartment for his girlfriend, does the wife keep the house that's all paid for?

Unlikely; Massachusetts is a marital property state and marital assets are divided between spouses when they divorce. Infidelity is only one of more than 30 factors the court considers when dividing assets, however, it is highly unlikely that a court would forfeit a large asset (paid off house) as punishment for an affair.
