Custody is not always a simple concept. Physical custody and legal custody can be two different things. If a parent has temporary physical and legal custody then that parent has the right to make all decisions about school and doctors. The other parent can not remove them from schools and doctors. If the child is under age 16 then it may be a crime to remove a child from school. Removing a child from the care of doctors could be considered child abuse or neglect. You should consult a lawyer so you can provide all of the information and get a considered legal opinion.
