Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Payment from divorce husband to pay additional child expenses

Is it the father's responsibility to pay additional cost to a send his child to a special school(behavioral school). Did not have the father's consent to send him. After the child was picked up and brought to a school in Utah, the father found out and was outraged. We went to court and the judge was in favor of sending him there due to his past arrest record. The father is not willing to pay for the private school which amounted to $15,000. Does the father have the right not to pay for at least half of the cost for his son?

The father has to pay what the court has ordered him to pay. If the court did not

order him to pay half of the school costs, then he doesn't have to. If you want to

change this, you must file have a judge order a change in the child support orders.
