Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

what is required to file harrassment charges against another individual living in another state? My husband had an affair which came to light 6 weeks ago and the women involved continues to leave phone messages and text messages. My husband nor I have made any attempts to contact this individual since the affair was uncovered, but still she persists in calling. Since she is unable to speak to either of us she has now called the local police department making false accusations insinuating we are harrassing her leading to the local police calling me. Yet another form of her way to harrass me. There are no phone records from us calling her at any time. How do I stop this crazed person from the continual harrassment? I am beginning to fear for my families safety anticipating what she will do next.

Thank you in advance for your advice.

File for a restraining order to cease and desist from any communication. If the order is broken, report it to the police.
