Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

my wife of 25 yrs is a life long alchoholic. I filed for divorse in 04 only to get her in front of a judge to order her to stop drinking in the house, we have 2 kids, and not for a divorse. It worked for several years, but attys were to expensive to continue. I hear there is a new law to have a spouse to stop drinking in home without filing for divorse. My youngest is now 18 and lives at home.

You are wrong - there is no such action available

There is an action in district court where you can petition to commit a person who either poses a danger to herself, or others.
