Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I am wondering what my rights are as a grandmother. I previously had guardianship of my grandson for 3 months and then they gave him back to his parents and now a month later DCF has stepped back in and taken him away. I want him back in my care and they won't give me any information. He is currently in a foster home and they say he is in a happy loving home. What are my rights?

You can request that the child live with you instead of in the foster home. As the grandparent you also have a right to reasonable visitation. If you are only seeking visitation, you need to file a Petition for Grandparent Visitation. If you need additional information, do not hesitate to contact my office at 617-410-6467.
