Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

Harrassment

Situation: a friend of mine had one time affair with a woman 2 years ago. This person calls him ever since at home, his cell-phone and at the office several or more times a day and sometimes in the middle of night. She waits for him at the apartment or at the garage. The main objective for her, at first, was to distroy his family by telling his wife about this one day affair. He confessed to his wife, and now probably she wants to get money from him.

What should he do? What is the procedure to get a police restriction order?

ps. Probably this person is an illegal arien as well.

Thank you for your help.

Re: Harrassment

Your friend should go to the police to report the entire situation, and they will doubtless suggest a procedure for calling them when next this woman appears at his residence.

Best wishes,
