Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

Received a 1 page document of (3rd page received only out of 4 pages) from My wife requesting spouse consent about a transaction of money to be transferred to her checking count. Document (page 3 only do not have the other pages) stating: acknowledge that I may be giving up my right to receive assets from the transaction that would otherwise go to me upon the participant's death.

Do I ask for the complete document. Or do I need a lawyer before signing the document

Yes, to both questions. You cannot sign the last page of a document without seeing the entire document.

Once you have received the entire three pages of the document, it would be prudent to let an Attorney review the document to let you know whether it is in your best interest to sign or not to sign the document.

Best wishes,
