Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

was refused leave to go to doctor

I called out sick on Sunday in great pain. On Monday I was able to function so went to work but got an appointment right away with my doctor. Management said I could not leave. Is that legal?

Re: was refused leave to go to doctor

It is not a question of legality it is a question of what is proper. If you are so sick that you require medical attention, and you were refused, contact their human services department.
