Legal Question in Immigration Law in Massachusetts

My fiance is American, but he doesnt have a US passport, only a green card. So can he apply for me,to be legal in USA and work there, and how long will it take.

Thank you.

He can petition for you as a greencard holder or as a US citizen. The process is much faster if he is indeed a US citizen. What you have listed here is a little unclear. For a free consultation, please contact me at 1-800-408-5818 or email me at [email protected].

Hi,

He can file an immigrant petition for you upon marriage. However, you will be unable to legalize your status right away, but if you entered the U.S. legally (even if authorized stay has expired) you will eventually be able to adjust status in the U.S. Additional information is here: www.h1b1.com/sponsor.htm
