if a child is born to a man serving the navy and the childs mother was born in jamicia and the child was born in Bermuda where to navy man was working there what are the chances for the child to become an American

If the father is an American citizen, then the child may petition for American citizenship. He is just as much a citizen as I am.

Is his father an american citizen? If he is, then a petition must be filed by him on behalf of the child to establish the child's citizenship. A child born to a citizen is a citizen himself.
