What are the laws for photocopying currency in the United States?

This isn't a copyright question, but rather the issue is governed by other federal laws and regulations. If I recall correctly, it is illegal to make copies of currency that are close in size to a real bill -- magnification by at least 150% or reduction by 75% is my vague recollection, but it might be 200% and 50%. Anyway, you get the idea; there are criminal penalties for making close-to-size copies.
