Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

holiday pay

I am a full time employee. Just started 4 months ago. The other empolyees told me that we dont get any holiday pay and when two semi-major holidays came there was no holisy pay. (Easter, and 4th of July) In MA is there a law on holiday pay?

Re: holiday pay

Employers are not required to pay employees for holidays on which the employee does not work. Accordingly, the reference to holiday pay is applicable only when the employer by express agreement or practice routinely pays employees for holidays or pays a premium for work performed on a holiday.
