Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

In Massachusetts if you give notice to an employer that you are leaving voluntarily and before the notice is done, they terminate you, is it still considered voluntary?

The real question is did you put the notice in writing and did you want to leave because of a hostile work environment. Voluntarily leaving or being fired for intentional misconduct disqualifies you for unemployment. You can call my office to discuss the issue as giving information online would be bad.
