Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

I was terminated from my company on Oct. 15, 2010. I signed my severance agreement and was told by HR that my payment would be deposited into my checking account on Nov. 15th. "It has to be at least 3 days from the effective date of when you signed letter, but could be more than 3 days." Today is Nov. 16th and I have not received any monies. Of course, the HR dept. is out of the office today. Does the waiting time penalty apply here? Can I require they pay me interest? What can I do? Thank you.
