Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

Hello, I believe I was wongfully terminated from my job at Nordstrom. I had gone to HR about my direct mngr, re harrasment 3months ago, since then she had made it goal to make this uncomfortable for me, and I knew she was trying to get me to quit. She claims that I was terminated for poor customer service which couldnt be further from the truth. at my exit interview,I made a complaint and also made a complaint with her Regional manager, and now they are investigating her actions. I have applied for unemployment. Can they deney my claim? Also, how do I go about making a complaint or speak with at the corporate level at Nordstrom?

John Skinner, III Associated Attorneys of New England

If you were harassed because of your age, sex, race, religion, etc. then you may have employment law claims. If you were retaliated against, and forced to resign, those also could lead to viable claims for redress.

Feel free to call our office and speak to an attorney regarding your possible claims and what we can do for you. There is no charge for an initial telephone consultation.
